You Never Know Who's Watching | #HighFiveFriday 056

Omar Prestwich March 15, 2019

You Never Know Who’s Watching.

Today marks day 15 of the K-Swiss Fitness challenge I started. It has not been the easiest thing to attempt during the month of March. It seems like there is always an event or party going on with free food and free drinks.

What I am learning the most from this experience is the commitment aspect of the challenge. If you say that you’re going to do something, DO IT. Even if you fall and slip. Get back up and keep trying. That to me is a win. The relentlessness of trying over and over. Day by day. Small wins.

For me, as I am the one who indicated the competition it has made me be extra committed because I know I have to set the highest standard. Not for the win, but for the discipline side of the competition. If I fail, others can use me as an escape goat and not commit. I don’t want that.

Even though I am super competitive at this, I am also rooting for everyone to win. Win in their own way. Something I am not sure everyone gets.

Anyway, like I said last week, Challenging yourself unlocks personal greatness. Set high standards for yourself and be relentless at getting better and you will not only level up, but you will inspire others along the way. You never know who’s looking up to you!
